Take an inspirational stroll through Islington to learn about the area’s diverse range of creatives and crafty opportunities. Jane, a local designer, maker, photographer & accredited Islington guide will show you art, artists and artisans of all kinds along a 90-minute route covering less than a mile.
See and hear about a range of skills such as painting, performance, fashion, food and print at theatres, galleries, workshops, studios and independent shops.
This a free walk but booking is essential.
This walk is funded by Islington Heritage Service to coincide wth Inspiring Islington, a photography exhibition at Islington Museum. The walk will end at Islington Museum to give walkers an opportunity to visit the exhibition which reveals the power of place to create a life of incident and memory.
