The Mayor’s Charity Walk – with the Clerkenwell and Islington Guides

Saturday, 27th April 2013 at 11:00am, from outside Islington Town Hall, Upper Street, N1 2UD.  Find Islington Town Hall on Google Maps.

Join the Mayor of Islington, Jilani Chowdhury and explore the heart of Islington – hear the stories of its famous theatres from the oldest to the smallest. Londoners have come to Islington for hundreds of years to be entertained and that’s not all, they also came here for water. Find out about the New River which is neither new nor a river!  What’s more it is celebrating its 400th anniversary this year!

Mayor’s Charity – The Manor Gardens Centre
who are celebrating 100 years in the borough.
