Oonagh Gay

Oonagh is a lifelong Londoner, who has always followed local history resources in her spare time. After a 30 year career as a House of Commons official, she is now able to pursue her passion for the capital city as a qualified Islington and Camden guide. Her walks are fun as well as informative and loves finding the individual stories which are hidden behind every London street. She blogs on women’s suffrage stories and the history of London government, but also enjoys leading walks on favourite London authors, such as Graham Greene and Joseph Conrad. Oonagh is a regular guide at Hornsey Town Hall and Alexandra Palace in Haringey and Canonbury Tower in Islington.
