VIRTUAL TOUR - Discovering the Bunhill Fields area

A virtual walk, using Zoom, exploring Bunhill Fields and the area around Old Street

In the course of an hour we’ll visit five different special places –
Old Street Roundabout, Wesley’s Chapel and House, Bunhill Fields,
Quaker Gardens and end at LSO St Luke’s . We’ll talk about John and
Susannah Wesley, see an unusual toilet, see the Lord Mayor’s bodyguards,
discover an inventor whose ideas power the internet, and one of his
colleagues who made today’s life insurance. We also learn more about the
inventor of the London Omnibus, visit a burial ground that is on of the
oldest in London, meet a publican who had an unusual hobby, and talk
about the second best lady of the night in C17th century London.
