Ghostsigns of Islington – the writing's on the wall

The area around Angel Islington and Upper Street is rich in faded hand-painted signs of the past, commonly referred to as ‘ghostsigns’. On this 90-minute walking tour which is just over a mile long you will see many surviving signs of this type and at each stop you’ll hear about the businesses, people and/or products behind them. We’ll also look other kinds of ‘ghostsigns’ along the way.
