This walk will explore how “Merrie Islington” as it was known became a place for popular entertainment. We’ll visit some of the Angel’s greatest past and present comedy and entertainment venues, and find out about many locally based comedians, comedy writers and entertainers and the comedy they’ve created – and participants can stay on for a free comedy show at Angel Comedy Club’s The Bill Murray pub!
