Art Deco Holloway - architectural delights of the 1930s

We’ll see how major changes were made to this popular shopping district during a period of rebuilding in the 1930s. There are marvellous examples of ‘statement’ architecture hiding in plain view almost at every junction of Holloway N7 on commercial buildings, places of entertainment and housing all keen to show they were part of the forward-thinking zeitgeist of that time.
